A highly-emotive 30min presentation recorded on film to illustrate the issues of homelessness and promote the solution as EH. To be done at several locations.

[edit] Venue

We need to hijack an existing event because we won't be able to raise our own audience. Think of it as being a "warm-up" act for someone else, ideally an artsy or religious thing. It needs to be in a theatre or professional place where we can have multiple cameras.

Also need background screen to run AVI files and fullscreen PPT if possible.

Examples are the Thorndyke Theatre in Leatherhead.

[edit] Filming

Need 3 Sony Z1's linked up together with DV tapes (possinly in HD), audio through the sounboard. Need radio mics.

[edit] Rehearsal

Need to do 3 run-throughs privately (e.g. someone's house or in the park), then 2 in the main venue itself.

Dean to come on and roar in a fiery way about statistics and failed government policy. Idea is confound expectations and challenge perceptions of why and how people become homeless, as well as why all efforts to tackle it have failed.

Needs brief PointPoint background with key figures and points.

Lead out with 2nd video explaining the vision of ending homelessness in 5 years, with hihgly emotive soundtrack.
