– A brief description of your organisation and its track record EveryonesHome.org.uk is a new pilot homelessness shelter radically different in design and benefit. We don’t think value for money in a charity should be something to be avoided. As can be seen in our application to you, for the kick start we need to be sure that together we can organise, focuse, fundraise and campaign to end homelessness in London for good, and not just say it as a meaningless rallying cry to more money. We seek change and peoples participation most of all. – What you would like us to fund £15,000 = rent of three bedroom accom and office for first year only £18,000 = salary to two employees to be chosen by homelessness outreach group first year only £12,000 = Directors budget and yearly compensation. Responsible for provision of food and amenities in EveryonesHome office to employees, administration of the office and delivery of the shelter from 2 years of our ‘launch’ – granting of registered charity status... along with automated advice programme and continual media coverage of the charities aims and campaigns, always given in a positive manner whilst being truthful to the scope of the problem and issues surrounding homelessness. – Why you want to do this work and why your organisation is best equipped to carry it out Because we’re merciless in cost effectiveness, We’d live in our office if we had millionaire backers throwing their fortunes at us or not. Principled, serious and focused, we can make inroads to exploding myths, breaking bureaucratic barriers, and creating a shelter that hopefully inspires others in the future. We’ve been homeless, we’ve seen how many fall through the supposed safety nets we have to protect people when they become part of the poorest 10% of society. We know the barriers to social and housing mobility best because we’ve lived them, and our organisation is and will continue to act as a mobilizing force for those otherwise powerless to assist the resolution of the crisis in London’s housing. – What difference the work you would like us to support will make to your organisation and life in the UK (either locally, regionally or nationally) It would being a beautiful snowflake, into a liberating snowball ride to ending homelessness in London, and deeper understanding of homelessness as a social phenomenon, and provide Automated housing advice the sophistication of which will put existing information systems to shame. All within a year, with £46,000 we can get this project pushed to well beyond half way of it’s first stage mission. Getting the shelter going.

– How much would the project cost and how much money are you asking Esmée Fairbairn for? For £46,000 we could bring three persons full time employment and accommodation, along with the automated advice system administered by myself, with the sound management and rapid growth of an organisation that I believe due to the fundamental difference in it’s constitution of inclusiveness and innovation of approach (positive message, solutions over negative messages and problems) will come to rival Shelter in terms of it’s impact on homelessness. London’s homelessness sector doesn’t lack for competition, however it does lack for good competition, that brings a secular, honest, heartfelt and positive campaign for change along with a shelter that shows such change is possible. In line with our ruthless approach to getting best value for money we estimate an annual turnover in donation of only £200,000 would adequately provide enough help over the first year to save 9,000 people having to spend a night on the streets. To understand why we can offer such value and boast such seemingly irrational numbers, check the “what” page on our website.

To conclude the fact of this applications value, in respect we allude to the grant made to Brent Homeless User Group of £53,259 Towards the salary and costs of a project manager over two years to build 'Community Insight' into a self sustaining enterprise providing meaningful opportunities for homeless people. Without detriment to this organisation, but in terms of simple comparison, you could easily ensure three people are given a great pathway out of long term homelessness, along with the surety that those three would endeavour to spread the kindness as far as possible in the services, shelter, and campaigns we have planned to provide the solutions to show, homelessness simply doesn’t need to exist in a civilised society.
