Applicants are required to have already been through detox. Residents must successfully complete a three week assessment phase. During the first two weeks they are not allowed out unaccompanied. Therapy sessions and group work are a compulsory part of the programme. Residents may smoke in their own rooms and in a designated smoking lounge between 3.30pm-9am. Residents may move from the 1st stage "treatment" house to the 2nd stage scheme (Milliken House in West Ealing) when they are ready to find move-on accommodation.
