Accommodation is in 6 self contained studios and 13 single-sex cluster shared flats. People usually stay about two years, during which time the project aims to help them find suitable move-on accommodation and to improve their life skills to enable them to maintain it. Move-on is decided by tenants through Locata - a choice-based lettings scheme. Residents must be prepared to live in the boroughs of Ealing, Hillingdon or Hounslow, where Burlington House has access to permanent housing.
